Placemaking is the art and practice of shaping public spaces so they are welcoming, vibrant, and truly useful— places that support people’s health, happiness, and well-being. Join us for an engaging conversation with three women leaders whose work brings these places to life in the context of multifamily housing. We will hear from Angela Gee AIA, Principal and Founder of Dean Alan Architects PLLC, who designs with community needs in mind; Amanda Tronsdal of The Founder’s Group (formerly MC Companies) a developer and project financing expert who helps make visionary ideas feasible; and Florencia Turco DeRoussel, NCIDQ, Principal and Director of Design at Within Studio, who crafts the experiences that make spaces organized, and feel inviting and human.
